WABI Burien wants everyone to know that they’re kicking off the new year with a special ‘Walk-n-Talk-with-a-Doc’ on Sunday, Jan. 6, starting at 2 p.m.
Dr. Michael Schlitt, Neurosurgeon and Chief of Surgery at Highline Medical Center, will speak to the group beforehand about the health benefits of walking.
Each walker present will receive a free pedometer and a copy of Dr. Schlitt’s walking program.
Dr. Schlitt will then join the walk so the conversation can continue along the walking route.
