On May 11th, the King County Council confirmed Burien’s annexation proposal for the August 18th primary ballot. Residents of unincorporated King County who live in the southern portion of the North Highline community will have a chance to decide if they want to join the city of Burien.

City of Burien staff will present information and answer questions at two upcoming informational open houses, the next one scheduled for Tuesday, May 19th.

WHAT: Annexation Informational Open House

WHEN: Tuesday, May 19th from 6:30pm to 8pm

WHERE: Salmon Creek School, which is located at 614 SW 120th Street, Seattle 98146

INFO: Informational open house to provide information about what annexation will mean for the people within the proposed annexation area. There will be a presentation followed by a Question and Answer session. Refreshments will be provided, and interpreter services can be arranged if requested 72 hours in advance.
