flash-mob-dance Organizers of the 2nd annual ‘Burien UFO Festival’ (aka BUFO) are seeking volunteers to participate in a ‘Flash Mob Dance’ at the event on Tuesday night, April 1, with the first rehearsal set for this Sunday, March 23. The first rehearsal will be this Sunday, March 23, from 4:30 – 6 p.m. at Forest Ledge, a historic 1915 located next to Eagle Landing Park at 14611 25th Ave SW in Burien’s Seahurst neighborhood. Volunteers – who can just show up Sunday – should park in the neighborhood, then walk down towards Eagle Landing Park; look for the big open gate to the north (on the right as you walk down) and head down the long driveway to the mansion. Dancers are asked to wear comfortable shoes to the rehearsal. Choreography will be taught at the rehearsals, and Dancers can then watch a practice video to rehearse on their own. “You do not need to be a dancer to participate!” reads an announcement. “We’ve got some awesome songs and fun choreography that pretty much anyone can learn. So find your flash mob shoes and get ready to surprise Burien with an out-of-this-world FLASH MOB!” Dancers can come dressed in regular street clothes OR come dressed as Men in Black, Women in Black or Aliens!
