A fundraiser for resident Aaron Rivera – who is suffering from lymphoma and has been battling for his life – will be held at Mick Kelly’s Irish Pub on Friday, Oct. 24.
The event starts at 9 p.m., and the suggested donation is $10.
There will be a raffle and other fun events, all focused on helping Rivera.
“He is a lovely husband, father, son and friend,” Beth Weiner told The B-Town Blog. “And he is a Highline High School Alumni and has lived in the area his whole life.”
“My brother has been battling Lymphoma for about two years now,” his sister Selina said. “When you have a family member who is living a life with cancer, you often think to yourself ‘How Can I Help?’ Starting this GoFundMe page is a part of my quest to help Aaron, his beautiful wife Kim, and their perfect babies, Sophia and Arlo.
