A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held by the Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce at the new LA Fitness in Burien on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 15.
Burien City Councilmember Debi Wagner (second from right) was in attendance along with employees and fellow local businesspeople at the event.
This 46,500 square feet facility has state-of-the-art exercise equipment, basketball and racquetball courts, swimming pool and other amenities.
The gym – located at 14905 4th Ave SW – plans to employ up to 50 staff.
