PHOTOS/VIDEO: Ground officially broken for new White Center Library 1
Ground was officially broken for a new King County Library branch at 1409 SW 107th Street in White Center on Thursday afternoon, March 19.
A tented V.I.P. section was cordoned off from heavy equipment, large tree limbs and mud, and it was chock full of local dignitaries, KCLS employees, board members and several cute kids thrown in just for fun.
The celebration was for a brand new, 10,000 square foot facility with “more materials, computers, wireless access, and space for children and teens,” according to KCLS.
Scott Schaefer was on-site and he took some great photos and video – see the full story here.]]>
