School Registration Drive Attention Highline Public Schools! Win money for your school … it’s easy! When you register for the Brat Trot, enter your school when asked “please select your school affiliation” and your registration will be counted in our school registration drive! The top 3 schools with the most registrants win money for their school or PTSA! The latest school registration drive standings are here: www.highlineschoolsfoundation.org/events/burien-brat-trot/school-registration/ Check back for updates! The school registration drive contest closes at 11:59 on Thursday, October 1st. NEW SCHOOL MATCH-UPS. MORE SCHOOLS BECOME WINNERS! In order to help schools in our district with the resources they need — we’ve partnered some schools together so more schools benefit! The schools will be chosen on a rotating basis — so if your school isn’t a “partner school” this year – don’t worry — it will be in the coming years. We’re excited about the opportunity to help more schools. Thank you for your support! 2015 Partner Schools:
  • Marvista Elementary & Highline High School
  • St. Francis & and Shorewood Elementary
  • Cascade Middle School & Hazel Valley Elementary
How it works If any of the above schools win 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize—then their partner school will win the same amount! Will both school’s registrations be counted in the drive? Yes, but individually. In other words, if Sylvester gets 10 registrations, they do not count in the St. Francis numbers, and vice-versa. St. Francis has to place 1st, 2nd or 3rd. If they do, both schools win prize awards. REGISTER ONLINE BEFORE OCT. 1 A Family Registration discount is available for both the 5K and short course races and the Corporate Team Challenge is back this year for groups of 10 or more representing the same organization. Online only: www.burienbrattrot.com Be a Brat Trot Angel! Sponsor a student in need! Each year during our school competitions we encounter families with children who would love to run but cannot afford the registration fee or do not have adequate shoes to run in. You can be a Brat Trot Angel and sponsor a local child in need so they can run the race without worrying about the fee! Angel donations will be matched with kids in need living in our community. Only $35 to sponsor a child to run or $60 to sponsor 2 children to run. Make a donation at www.burienbrattrot.comPUB CRAWL OCT. 2!
