And it was all done by a new officer. “Officer Laux is an officer in training, who was partnered with one of our Burien officers, Master Police Officer Easterbrook,” police said. “Although a new officer to us, she came to us as an experienced officer from the Washington State Patrol. We love to steal good cops! Last week, she made a traffic stop and during the stop, noticed a loaded magazine pistol inside the car. She then saw the butt of a handgun in one of the passenger’s front pockets. As it turns out this passenger is a convicted felon and not allowed to possess guns.”

Officer Laux is credited for removing one gun and one felon from the streets of Burien. “Way to go!” police added.
