Brat Trot Emcee Manuela Horn shows off her seven new ‘Wandering Brat’ friends she recently met at the Tin Room.

Back by popular demand, Organizers of the Burien Brat Trot – coming Sunday, Oct. 4 – have created a fun new Instagram photo contest where you take pics of ‘Bret the Brat,’ a costumed plastic hot dog!

Bring your “Bret the Brat” with you wherever you go between Sept. 15 and Oct. 1 – and take a photo of him in the following settings:

A beach
A sporting event
A cook out or barbecue
A park
A Burien bar or restaurant

Post photos of your “Bret the Brat” in the five locations above, tag them with #thewanderingbrat and #burienbratrtrot and be entered to win a $100 gift card to Olde Burien’s Tin Room!

Snap your photos of Bret in interesting places, near or far.
Post your photos to your Instagram page, between 9/14/15 and 10/2/15, and tag them with Â #thewanderingbrat and #burienbrattrot. (Each photo equals one entry in the drawing).
Each day, one photo will be selected as a Wandering Brat Location of the Day and featured on the Brat Trot Facebook page.
On Friday, October 2nd, the winner will be randomly drawn from all the entries and announced on Instagram and Facebook.
The winner will receive $100 gift certificate to the Tin Room, 2 free tickets to Highline Schools Foundationâ€™sÂ Oktoberfest Auction, and some great Brat Trot swag!

Your “Bret the Brat” can be picked up at the Tin Room in Olde Burien (923 SW 152nd Street) beginning Sept. 10, or use yours from last year! Your “Bret” is yours to keep!
