Around 8:10 p.m. Sunday night (Oct. 11), a Burien Police Department cruiser was southbound on 1st Ave South with lights and siren on, en route to back another deputy that had a subject struggling with him. When the deputy reached S. 146th, another car – which was going westbound – pulled in front of him and the patrol car ‘t-boned’ that vehicle. A male passenger in the other car suffered minor injuries, police said. Neither driver was injured. Police are still investigating the incident.]]>

  1. Was the driver deaf as well as blind? Or was he on the phone or texting? Maybe he had his music on so loud he couldn’t hear, I thought when you heard a siren you pulled over and stopped, or has that reg gone out of style? So glad no-one was badly injured.
