We encourage residents of all ages to submit stories and photos for posting – for consideration, please email yours to [email protected]!] Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 11 The Pirates played their last local football game against the Renton Indians last Thursday in the Renton Memorial Stadium. They lost 7-42. One exciting play in the second half was when #12 ran a long way and almost scored. A few plays later, #44 ran the ball in for a Pirate touchdown. After the game I had fun trying to get a picture of the team and cheerleaders. The Lady Soccer Pirates have a game at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Highline and at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at Renton Memorial. The last game of the season for the Football Pirates is at 7 p.m. in Bellingham on Friday, Oct. 30. On Saturday, Oct. 31, there will be Pirates all over the place! Cross Country Pirates are going to Districts at American Lake Golf Course at 11 a.m. Swimming Pirates are at their last League meet at the Hazen Pool at 4:30 p.m. There is also Volleyball, Golf, and Tennis too. Check out http://www.seamountathletics.com for more information. Finally, a big thank you to everyone who supported Evergreen at their Homecoming on Friday. They lost 7-14 to Bainbridge but that is okay. The stands were full and many gave to the Kenney Bui Scholarship fund. Bainbridge had a message of support for Evergreen after the game too.
