Resident Elston Hill sent us this great photo of the rare, full Christmas Moon over Burien (click image to see larger version): astill-cloudy_0026 Elston adds:

I was excited in anticipation of a full Moon for Christmas, but as various weather blogs inform us, this has been one of the rainiest Decembers in Seattle in 120 years. And despite my early rise Christmas morning, the Christmas full Moon was not visible from our house in Burien. Finally, on the morning of December 26, the Moon made a brief short-lived effort to peak through and shine on Burien and Vashon Island. This December is one for the records.
