We encourage residents of all ages to submit stories and photos for posting – for consideration, please email yours to editor@b-townblog.com!] Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 11 On Saturday (Jan. 9, 2016), there was a large gathering of people of all ages at the Burien Community Center, with music turned up really loud. They were having a dance off (‘The Battle of Burien’), so I stopped by to see what it was all about. There were different styles of dance. People would get a little bit of time to show their moves and one would be picked to move on. Some spun on the floor and others looked like a cell phone vibrating across the floor. One dancer was really flexible and did a lot of weird moves with his arms. Burien is a pretty cool place to live, there are lots of fun, different things to do.
