It started with the “Taking Down Pancreatic Cancer Tournament” on Jan. 23, 2016. The Pirates faced four teams. First was a loss to Quincy (24-48). Decatur also beat the Pirates (12-60). The Pirates beat both Liberty (49-22) and Skyline (43-26). Overall the Pirates took 5th place out of eight teams. This was Senior Night for eight team members. Lots of Pirates wrestled each other. I did not get final team scores for this meet. cal-11 ken-01 kev-03 oz-04 ty-09 Saturday is Sub-Regionals at Highline Senior High starting at 8 a.m. The Pirates finished the season 6-1. The only team to beat them was Renton (7-0). Renton and Highline wrestle each other at Sub-Regionals.
