REMINDER: The next Burien Film Office Happy Hour will be next Tuesday (April 5), from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Tin Theater in Olde Burien. This is an open, free and all-ages event, and all filmmakers, film buffs, artists and anyone else who appreciates cinema are invited to meet others, network, learn about local productions in Burien and much more. This month’s guests will be the Organizers behind the Burien Film Festival, who will showcase winning films from the 2nd annual competition, which will be held at the Burien UFO Festival in Olde Burien, starting at 6 p.m. this Friday night, April 1. Filmmakers will also be in attendance. The Tin Theater is located at 923 SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien.

GUEST SPEAKERS NEEDED! Guest Speakers are also being sought for future events, and each will have 30+ minutes to show clips, short films, stills, etc. about their work, as well as do Q&A with the audience. If you have something film-related you’d like to present, please email editor@b-townblog.com (BTB Publisher Scott Schaefer is volunteering to help the city manage these events).
