Turbo Turkey: The Dark MeatÂ features four one-act plays written by members of the Turbo Turkey improv and sketch comedy troupe, and premiering at Burien Actors Theatre. AÂ young man brings his girlfriend home to meet his parents in the unusual guess-whoâ€™s-coming-to-dinner scenarioÂ Guess Who Weâ€™re Having for Dinner, written by Diana Martin. InÂ Dinner at â€˜Ate,â€™Â written by Anna Richardson, a zombie in denial of her identity struggles to have a normal dinner party in the midst of the apocalypse. When a stuffed toy otter comes to life and becomes a young girlâ€™s best friend inÂ Jenny, written by Adam Hegg, murder and mayhem ensue and little is what it seems. Revenge gets serious during a reunion of family and friends inÂ RSVP to R.I.P,Â written by JoshÂ Rodriguez. Presented by Turbo Turkey in association with Burien Actors Theatre,Â Turbo Turkey: The Dark MeatÂ is suitable for ages 13 and up due to occasional strong language and some acts of violence. THE CAST AND DIRECTORS Adam Hegg, Diana Martin, Anna Richardson and Josh Rodriguez are directing the shows. The four of them also make up the cast along with the diverse acting talents of Wendy Cohen, Draeko Damon, Simone Elbrecht, Matt Gaffney, Nick Horiatis, Fantasia Oslund and Jenette Troberg. ABOUT TURBO TURKEY Turbo Turkey is a sketch comedy and improv troupe founded by Adam Hegg in 2009. The group is known for its fast, zany and eclectic comedy. At Burien Actors Theatre, Turbo Turkey has performed late-night and prime-time improv, special events and their original scripted production of the superhero comedyÂ Electric Man.
