Police say that the Burien female was driving a Honda southbound on 4th Ave SW approaching the light at SW 148th Street when she collided at the intersection with a Sound Transit bus that was westbound on SW 148th Street. The bus was driven by a 62-year old man. The woman’s Honda ended up going over an embankment next to an office building in the Burien Town Plaza. The bicycle rack of the bus penetrated the driver’s door of the Honda, causing critical injuries to the woman. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. There was NO indication of alcohol or drugs, and this accident is still under investigation. ]]>
