On Saturday, Feb. 11, a deputy-involved collision blocked streets near the Burien Transit Center.
Police say that an officer called in an accident at about 11:30 a.m. at SW 148th Street and 4th Ave SW.
This collision caused vehicle damage, but there were no injuries.
The King County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Response and Reconstruction (MARR) unit responded to the scene, and nearby roads were closed, but opened up just prior to 3 p.m.
The investigation is still open and ongoing.
