The Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department’s annual New Toy and Food Drive has begun, and they’re looking for donations.

This drive will serve holiday food and gifts to 50 local needy families.

King County Fire District #2 is now accepting new toys and food until Dec. 18, to assist families in our community through its annual Holiday Outreach program.

“This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community. Every year we request 50 families to sponsor that live within our response area from Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.”

In addition to toys and food, cash and checks are also being accepted at Fire Station #28, located at 900 SW 146th Street in Burien (map below):
