The City of Burien announced this week that it will be holding a Public Hearing on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, to discuss receiving public comment regarding adoption of Ordinance No. 729, which would renew “a moratorium on the filing of applications for licenses, permits, and approvals for any Enhanced Services Facility or Comparable Business in the City.”

The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at Burien City Hall, 400 SW 152nd Street (map below), starting at 7 p.m.

After the meeting, council will hold a Study Session beginning at approximately 7:30 p.m.

In accordance with RCW 36.70A.390, the City of Burien will hold a public hearing during a special meeting on Monday, February 24, 2020 for the purpose of:

Receiving public comment regarding adoption of Ordinance No. 729, Renewing a moratorium on the filing of applications for licenses, permits, and approvals for any Enhanced Services Facility or Comparable Business in the City.

The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at Burien City Hall, 400 SW 152nd Street, 1st Floor, at 7:00 pm or as soon thereafter as called by Council.

COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE

Purusant to RCW 42.30.080, notice is hereby given to all interested parties that the Burien City Council will hold a Special Meeting at Burien City Hall, 400 SW 152nd Street on February 24, 2020, beginning at 6:00 p.m. for the following purposes:

    1. Hold an Executive Session (60 minutes): to consider the minimum price at which real estate will be offered for sale or lease per RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) to discuss Pending Litigation per RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)
    2. Hold a Public Hearing (30 minutes) to receive public comment regarding adoption of Ordinance No. 729, Renewing a moratorium on the filing of applications for licenses, permits, and approvals for any Enhanced Services Facility or Comparable Business in the City – beginning at approximately 7pm or as soon there after as called by Council.
    3. Hold a Study Session – beginning at approximately 7:30pm or as soon thereafter as called by Council.
