UPDATE: Burien Arts Association’s reception for artist Allina Hakim at the Highline Heritage Museum – scheduled for 6-7 p.m. this Friday, March 6 – has been canceled.
The Museum’s Board of Directors has decided to close the museum for a few days because of concern over the Coronavirus outbreak. Museum officials note that most of the museum volunteers are over 70-years old so are in the high-risk category for contracting the virus.
Burien Arts will notify the public when the reception is rescheduled.
