An early morning RV fire woke up a lot of residents up with a loud explosion and smoke Tuesday morning, May 12, 2020.

One reader near Boulevard Park said he heard a loud explosion shortly after 5 a.m., then saw a large plume of black smoke.

Police say it happened near Station #19 in the 1600 block of S. 128th Street (map below), and that the call came in at 5:17 a.m.

Cause of the fire is unknown, and we have not heard of any injuries.
