West Side Music Academy has been your neighbor to the near north in West Seattle for just over 20 years now. What began with just us, Chris and Cami MacDonald, teaching music lessons in our home has broadened to become quite the thriving and eclectic music community. Our teachers teach just about every major musical instrument (piano, guitar, vocals, brass, woodwinds, ukulele etc.) to students of all ages, from all over Seattle and beyond.

With the one-two punch of the bridge closure and COVID-19, we’ve transitioned to online learning which means it’s easier than ever to get to and from your personal lesson. Virtual music lessons allow students who want to remain sharp until school bands and orchestras reconvene, or aspiring performers of all ages who want to learn an instrument for the simple joy of playing, a convenient and effective method for progressing on their instrument of choice.

INSTRUMENT RENTALS
In addition to lessons we also offer instrument rentals. We partnered with Metropolitan Music a few years ago and are now offering their top notch musical instruments at a convenient pickup and drop location in West Seattle. Whether your child needs an instrument for band class (when it starts back up) or you want to try your hand at the cello, we have you covered.
