This Friday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m., BAT Theatre will hold another of its online “Meet Maggie and Eric” events, when they talk theater and whatever else comes up.

“It is an enjoyable hour or maybe 90 minutes max.”

To join them on Zoom, please send an email, and they will send you the Zoom link.

Here’s more from our friends at BAT:

Your chance to help define BAT

BAT is looking for as many words and phrases YOU would use to describe BAT, what it is, what it should be, what you want us to become, and what actions we should take.

Not to color your suggestions, but BAT committed to embracing Equity as one guiding value for BAT’s future. We will continue and enhance fostering diversity, reaching out to those marginalized by discrimination and poverty – to be inclusive in our business practices, our choice of performances, selection of performers, hiring of our creative team and crew, choice of vendors, and audience development.

That said, please email us all of your words and phrases used to describe BAT, what it is, what it should be, what you want us to become, and what actions we should take.

Two more things coming up

First, we are waiting on the rights to one more show, and we will announce BAT’s Shelter-in-place Season III. This time, it will be four productions on Zoom. As always, these will be a pay-what-you-will fundraiser for BAT. We are keeping our doors open, but only with the love and support of so many.

Two, someone’s birthday comes up in March. BAT will be holding a fundraising drive during February. We are looking at how to put real-time closed captioning on our Zoom performances. I have a feeling my fundraiser will be directed at covering the cost of that enhancement.

If you can not wait to donate until next month to donate, please give HERE.
