DESCRIPTION:AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person tax assistance to anyone\, free of charge\, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income.  \n\n\n\nStarting on Friday\, Feb. 3\, and continuing through Sunday\, April 16\, 2023\, AARP Tax-Aide will be providing services at the Burien Library (400 SW 152nd Street). \n\n\n\nTax-Aide hours will be 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Fridays and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sundays.  \n\n\n\nAppointments are required and may be made online at Tax Aide Registration (aarp.org) or by leaving a voice mail message at (206) 657-6018.  A volunteer will return your call and schedule your appointment. \n\n\n\nOnce the site is open in February\, taxpayers may also stop by during open hours and a volunteer there will help them make an appointment.   \n

They’re opening their two-show season with a brand new comedy\, On the Market\, by Jason Odell Williams \n. The manuscript they are working from is dated Oct. 30\, 2022. Synopsis: \nA former singer\, now a realtor\, struggles with the modern dating scene after becoming a widow two years ago. Her life is turned upside down when she finds a mysterious note from her dead husband telling her it’s okay to “move on.” A touching modern\, romantic comedy for grown-ups about love\, loss\, and finding your Forever Home.\n\nPlease note\, On the Market contains minimal adult language (one “d” and two “g” words). \n\n\n\nGET YOUR TICKETS HERE\n\n\n\n(NOTE: there is NO performance on Friday\, Feb. 24\, 2023). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn the Market closes March 5\, which also happens to be Creative Director Eric Dickman’s birthday!
