SUMMARY:Walk Burien's Seahurst neighborhood with WABI Weekday Walkers on Wednesday\, May 15
DESCRIPTION:All are invited to come join WABI Weekday Walkers as they wander in the lovely Seahurst neighborhood of Burien on Wednesday\, May 15\, 2024\, starting at 9 a.m.  \nOur route will start at Lake Burien School Memorial Park. The park was built in 1994 on the former site of the historic Lake Burien Elementary School\, the first school building in Seahurst. \nToday the neighborhood park boasts an open lawn area\, tennis courts\, walking trail\, playground\, and restrooms. \nIn addition\, the park is the site of weekly outdoor concerts during summer months. \nYou can read about the interesting history of Lake Burien School Memorial Park on the Burien government website. The walk about 2.5 miles and will take about an hour. Canine friends are welcome and may enjoy borrowing a stick from the Doggie Stick Library along the way.
