DESCRIPTION:From our friends at WABI Burien: \nAll are invited to join the WABI Weekday Walkers for a lovely\, shaded stroll along the Cedar River trail on Wednesday\, July 17\, 2024\, starting at 9 a.m.  \nWe’ll start from the Cedar River trail parking lot that is adjacent to the Renton Rowing Center\, in Renton. The parking lot stretches along the trail and the river. We’ll plan to meet at the northern end of the lot\, closest to Lake Washington. Bathroom facilities are available. \nThe walk will take us south on the Cedar River trail for 1.5 miles. Along the way we’ll pass the Renton airport\, Renton Memorial Stadium\, and plenty of forest and river views before we turn around at the Renton Public Library. \nThis flat\, 3-mile round trip journey on paved pathway will take about one hour. \nDate: Wednesday\, July 17\, 2024\nTime: Meet a little before 9 a.m. so we can begin walking at 9:00.\nPlace: Cedar River trail parking lot adjacent to Renton Rowing Center at 1060 Nishiwaki Ln\, Renton.\nWho: Walkers of every level and ability (dogs are welcome\, too.)\nDistance: About 3 miles\, round trip.
