DESCRIPTION:The 4th Annual “Love Like Bob” 5K Run will take place on Saturday\, Feb. 15\, 2025\, starting at 10 a.m. at Marvista Park in Normandy Park.  \nThe event\, co-hosted by Greater Highline Tukwila Young Life and the Thompson family\, honors the legacy of Dr. Bob Thompson\, a beloved community figure known for his compassion and dedication to helping others. \nThe 5K run\, walk\, or jog begins at 10 a.m. Participants will complete a course consisting of three one-mile loops around the park. \nRegistration and donations can be made online at lovelikebob5k.org. \nProceeds from the event will support causes that were important to Dr. Thompson\, including local free health clinics\, international medical aid through Mercy Ships\, after-school youth programs\, mission trips\, and regional Young Life initiatives in Alaska and South Puget Sound. \nDonors will receive a commemorative “Love Like Bob” T-shirt\, which will also be available at the park during the event. \n“Dr. Bob Thompson had a great love and deep compassion for all people\,” organizers said. “Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate his legacy of love and support the causes that were dearest to his heart. DESCRIPTION:Do you want to learn what birds are in your backyard? Do you want to help researchers take a snapshot of their populations?
