DESCRIPTION:The Burien City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday\, March 3\, 2025  to conduct interviews and make appointments for key advisory bodies\, including the Business and Economic Development Partnership (BEDP)\, Burien Airport Committee (BAC)\, Human Services Commission (HSC)\, Parks\, Recreation\, and Cultural Arts Advisory Board (PRCA)\, and the Planning Commission (PC). \nThe meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. and take place at Burien City Hall (map below). It can also be viewed live on Comcast TV Channel 21\, via Zoom here or via livestream here. \nDownload the full agenda packet here. \nAgenda Highlights:\nAdvisory Board Interviews and Appointments\nThe council will interview candidates and vote on appointments to fill multiple vacancies on city commissions and advisory bodies. \nPublic Comment\nResidents wishing to speak must sign up by 4:30 p.m. on March 3 via the city’s public comment form. Written comments may also be submitted but will not be read aloud during the meeting.
