DESCRIPTION:A King County free community repair event will be held in the multipurpose room at the Burien City Hall/Library on Wednesday\, March 19\, 2025\, from 3–6 p.m. \nSponsored by KING COUNTY REPAIR EVENTS PROGRAM. \nAt this free community repair event in the Burien City Hall/Library main meeting room\, our skilled volunteer “fixers” will try to repair and mend many types of small household and personal items\, including: electronics; toys; tools; small furniture\, such as chairs or drawers; clothing; other textiles; and much more! \nFirst-come\, first-served (for people’s first items only)\, as fixers are available. For second items\, we’ll try to get to those after we’ve worked on everyone’s first items. \nIf you’re not sure if your item is a good choice for these events (there are some kinds of items we’re not able to work on)\, or if you have other questions\, contact event coordinator Tom at tom.watson@kingcounty.gov or at 206-477-4481\, or by commenting on the Facebook event page. \nAlso visit www.KingCounty.gov/repair-events for all the details about the King County repair events program\, including this event. \nThis program has held 87 repair events since it began in 2016\, including six events in Burien.
