DESCRIPTION:Alimentando al Pueblo (AAP) will host its sixth year of celebrating the legacy of the “Queen of Cumbia” (the late singer-songwriter Selena Quintanilla-Pérez) with Bidi Bidi Bom Bash 2025\, a three-part festival happening this coming weekend – Saturday\, April 12\, Sunday\, April 13\, and Saturday\, April 19\, 2025 in Burien. \nEveryone is invited to this intergenerational community-building celebration—one of the few in the nation that honors Latinx food systems and raises funds to cultivate healing through food\, community\, and joy. \n“Bidi Bidi Bom Bash was created in 2018 through a deep desire to amplify and elevate the Latine culture here in the PNW\,” said Roxana Pardo-Garcia\, Executive Director of AAP and owner of La Roxay Productions. “What started as a labor of love\, has evolved into a cultural movement to celebrate the robust diversity of the communities we belong to.” \n\nEvent Lineup:\n\n\n\n🛍️ Bidi Bidi Bom Bash Mercado Saturday\, April 12\, 12–5 p.m. Lake Burien Presbyterian Church\, 15003 14th Ave SW\, Burien\, WA 98166\n\n\n\nA vibrant market spotlighting local vendors of color.
