DESCRIPTION:Let’s venture over to Renton for a popular walk along the Cedar River Trail on Wednesday\, May 21\, 2025\, starting at 9 a.m. \nAll are invited to join the WABI Weekday Walkers on this flat\, 3-mile route that follows the river. \nWe’ll start from the northern end of the Cedar River trail parking lot\, near the Renton Rowing Center and closest to Lake Washington. Bathroom facilities are available nearby. \nThe walk will take us south on the Cedar River trail for 1.5 miles. Along the way we’ll pass the Renton airport\, Renton Memorial Stadium\, and plenty of forest and river views before we turn around at the Renton Public Library. \nThis flat\, 3-mile round trip journey on paved pathway will take about one hour. \nDate: Wednesday\, May 21\, 2025\nTime: Meet a little before 9 a.m. so we can begin walking at 9:00.\nPlace: Cedar River trail parking lot adjacent to Renton Rowing Center at 1060 Nishiwaki Ln\, Renton.\nWho: Walkers of every level and ability (dogs are welcome\, too.)\nDistance: About 3 miles\, round trip.
