DESCRIPTION:The City of Burien will celebrate its fifth annual Pride Flag Raising this Thursday\, May 29\, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at City Hall\, and all community members are invited to attend.\n\nThe event\, part of Burien’s ongoing efforts to foster inclusion and visibility for LGBTQ+ residents\, will feature the raising of the Progress Pride Flag outside City Hall.\n\nFree coffee and cookies will be available for attendees as part of the celebration.\n\nThe Progress Pride flag\, designed by Daniel Quasar in 2018\, incorporates additional colors to represent marginalized communities within the LGBTQ+ spectrum\, has flown at Burien City Hall each year since the tradition began in 2020.\n\nThe city encourages attendees to share their support using the hashtag #CelebrateBurien.\n\n\n\nAll are welcome to join us on Thursday\, May 29 at 10:30 a.m. as we raise the Pride flag at Burien City Hall for the fifth year in a row.
