DESCRIPTION:Youth and young adults looking to jumpstart their careers are invited to attend the 2025 Peace N the Hood Job Fair on Wednesday\, June 4\, 2025\, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center (map below). \n \nThe free indoor job fair is open to individuals ages 16 to 24 and will feature a range of local employers actively hiring\, including Highline Public Schools. \nAttendees can receive help with resumes and job applications at the on-site Log Cabin resource center. \nOrganizers say the event is designed to connect youth to meaningful employment opportunities and local support services. \nParticipants will be able to ask questions\, practice job interview techniques\, and explore different career paths. \nOrganizers will also provide guidance on the application process and the types of skills employers are seeking. \nThe event is hosted in partnership with King County Parks\, the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County\, Southwest Youth & Family Services\, and YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish. \nFor more information\, visit: \nwcteenprogram.org/job-launch-pnth
