DESCRIPTION:Downtown Burien will come alive with glowing art\, live performances\, and a night market on Saturday\, Sept. 6\, 2025\, for the city’s annual Arts-A-Glow celebration. \nThe free\, family-friendly event runs from 7 to 10:30 p.m. and will span SW 152nd & 153rd Streets from 4th Ave SW to Olde Burien\, as well as Town Square Park. \nVisitors can expect artist installations\, hands-on art making\, live performers\, and a bustling night market. \nOrganizers say Arts-A-Glow\, also called Arte Luminoso\, aims to bring the community together through creativity and light. \nThis year’s program will feature illuminated costumes\, glowing sculptures\, and interactive art experiences. \nAccording to the official festival map\, the celebration will feature lantern art installations throughout downtown\, live music and dance performances – including an exciting performance from VamoLá! outside the Highline Heritage Museum from 8:30 – 9 p.m. – activity zones for families and more. \nAttendees are encouraged to explore the streets and park areas\, where artists will display their work and lead creative activities for all ages. \nFood vendors and local shops will be open late to welcome visitors. \nHelpful Hints & Tips\nYou can help make the night festive by coming in costume and bringing your favorite lantern!
