SUMMARY:7 Stories on theme of ‘Way Too Close’ at Highline Heritage Museum
DESCRIPTION:Local residents will have the chance to hear\, and share\, personal stories during the next 7 Stories event\, which returns to the Highline Heritage Museum this Friday night\, Sept. 26\, 2025 with the theme “Way Too Close.” \nThis free event will be held at the museum from 7 – 8:30 p.m. \nOrganizers say the monthly storytelling night aims to build community\, encourage empathy and celebrate diversity by featuring true tales told directly by community members. \nEach storyteller is introduced by a host\, who shares a short biography of each before they take the stage. \n“These are not theatrical performances\,” organizers noted. “They are real stories told from the heart — funny\, powerful\, and sometimes a little uncomfortable — by your friends\, neighbors\, and people you may be meeting for the first time.” \nWatch it LIVE on Facebook\nNOTE: If you can’t make it to this event in person\, be sure to “Like” us on Facebook here to get a notification\, as The B-Town Blog hopes to be streaming it live starting at 7 p.m. \nStorytellers Needed</2>\nPlease consider sharing your true story…In the spirit of community and friendship. \nOrganizers will coach/help you as much as you would like. \nTo sign up\, please fill out the form online or send an email to 7stories@burienculturehub.org. \nEvent staff offer coaching and can help coordinate bilingual two-person storytelling. \nParents are advised to use discretion\, as not all stories may be appropriate for young listeners. \n7 Stories is part of a community effort to promote connection through personal narratives\, and organizers say they are always looking for new storytellers willing to share their experiences. \nFor more info\, visit https://burienculturehub.org/7stories
