DESCRIPTION:Gene Kelly might enjoy Singing in the Rain\, but most would prefer crooning in a drier spot\, like The Tin Room Theater on Tuesday night\, Oct. 14. \nDoors open for BAT Theatre’s next Movie Musical Karaoke at 5:30 p.m.\, and it’s karaoke from 6-9 p.m. at The Tin Room Theater (923 SW 152nd St\, Burien\, WA). \nSing along to your favorite film musical soundtracks playing on the big screen with subtitles\, or watch the action. \nSelection of movie musicals provided\, or bring your favorite movie musical DVDs. \nThere will be solos\, duets\, and group singalongs. \nCostumes and choreography are encouraged but not required. \nAdmission is a $5 donation for patrons under 21\, who must be accompanied by someone over 21\, and $10 for everyone else\, either online or at the door. Thanks to The Tin Room\, all proceeds support BAT Theatre\, which brings you better live theater! Buy your tickets online in advance at BATkaraoke.click4tix.com until Noon Oct. 14 (after that\, tickets are only available at the door). \nSeating is limited (38 capacity)\, so early purchase is highly recommended. \nStop in for dinner and/or drinks before or after the show.
