DESCRIPTION:Burien Actors Theatre’s (BAT’s) Rebellious Women uses sharp humor\, raw emotion and moments of intimacy to explore how far women will go for what they believe.  \nThe show runs through May 3 at Kennedy Catholic High School (map below). \nSynopsis:\n“When contented housewife Edith accidentally wanders into a suffragette meeting\, she has no plans for revolution. But the women there will change her life forever. The harsh treatment of the protesters draws Edith toward the movement’s radical center. Where does she draw the line in the fight for equality? An unsentimental and sharp-witted homage to the suffragettes. ‘Deeds\, not words.’” \nRebellious Women uses sharp humor\, raw emotion\, and moments of intimacy to explore the Suffragists’ journey to secure the vote for women. \nRebellious Women contains some adult content. \nPerformances are on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. now through May 3.
