DESCRIPTION:The next installment of the “7 Stories” community storytelling series will be held Friday night\, July 24 at the Highline Heritage Museum in Burien\, with storytellers sharing personal experiences inspired by the theme “Animal Tales.” \nThe free event begins at 7 p.m. at the museum\, located at 819 SW 152nd Street (map below)\, and is part of this monthly storytelling program\, which invites community members to tell true\, personal stories before a live audience. \nThis monthly program is designed to build community\, foster empathy and celebrate diversity through storytelling. Each event features seven storytellers sharing real life stories connected to a common theme. The stories are told rather than read\, and each presentation is limited to seven minutes. \n7 Stories is held on the fourth Friday of each month and regularly draws residents from Burien and surrounding South King County communities to hear stories that are personal\, heartfelt and authentic. \nStorytellers Needed\nCommunity members interested in telling a story are encouraged to sign up in advance.
