DESCRIPTION:The Burien Elks Lodge will host its annual Classy Chassis Car Show on Sunday\, Aug. 23\, bringing together classic cars\, hot rods and custom vehicles for a day of community fun. \nThe show will be held from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Burien Elks Lodge No. 2143\, located at 14006 First Ave. S. in Burien (map below). \nThe event will feature displays of classic cars\, hot rods and custom vehicles\, along with food\, drinks and activities open to the public. \nOrganizers are inviting residents to “come admire an amazing collection of classic and custom vehicles\, meet fellow car enthusiasts\, and enjoy a fun day at the Elks Lodge.” \nVehicle registration is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The car show will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, with awards to be presented at 2:30 p.m. \nVehicle registration costs $10\, with proceeds going to the Classy Chassis Car Club benefiting the Burien Fire Department. \nThe Burien Elks describe the event as an opportunity for “great people and community fun” while celebrating a shared appreciation for classic automobiles and custom builds. \nFor additional information\, organizers direct the public to burienelks.com or to contact the Burien Elks Lodge at 206-243-2143.
