Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices NW Brokers hold fundraiser for foster kids

South King Media Sponsor Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest Real Estate held their annual ‘Give a Day Away’ fundraiser event on Saturday, Oct 7. This year local Burien Berkshire Hathaway brokers donated their time to TreeHouse, a Puget Sound organization helping local foster kids, continuing their efforts to support TreeHouse beyond the Diaper Drive that Berkshire Hathaway Burien holds every year at the beginning of December. Brokers spent the day sorting through donated clothing and other items, tagging approved items, and entering them into the system for foster children to choose from. Berkshire Hathaway Burien Sales Manager, Nalani Young felt the day was rewarding, commenting it was a “Great opportunity to think outside of yourself.” Berkshire Hathaway Realtors and Staff strive to make choices to better serve the people in our communities and beyond. “There are so many great charities and charitable causes to get passionate about,” Branch Manager Tay Krull said. “We as an office have found a passion for helping local foster children and TreeHouse is such an amazing resource for foster kids in our area.
