The Northwest Symphony Orchestra will open its 2026 season with a Valentine-themed concert featuring Latin American music on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien.

The concert, titled “Notas de Amor” or “Love Notes,” is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will include guest artists Eduardo Mendonca, Eric Rynes, the orchestra’s concertmaster, and tenor soloist Jose Iniguez.

“To bring a joyful start to the New Year, the NWSO begins 2026 with our ever popular themed Valentines Concert, this year performing uplifting music from Latin American countries,” said Anthony Spain, music director of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.

The program will open with the overture to “West Side Story” and conclude with “Danzon No. 2” by Arturo Marquez, which the orchestra described as an electrifying finale.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, while students ages 18 and under are admitted free.

“So much great music to celebrate, and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday, February 7,” Spain added.
