Y.E.T.I. holding movie night fundraiser on Thursday, April 30

Local nonprofit Youth Experimental Training Institute  (Y.E.T.I.) will host a movie night fundraiser on Thursday, April 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. as part of its ongoing efforts to raise funds and sustain its programs.

This will be a casual outdoor movie night at the Y.E.T.I. lot in Burien (map bel0w), featuring short films about youth, adventure, inclusion, and outdoor fun, all while supporting young people getting outside with Y.E.T.I.

“Bring a friend, grab some pizza, settle into a camp chair, and enjoy a meaningful night under the sky.”

Event Schedule

  • 6:30 p.m.: Gates open
  • 7:00 p.m.: Program and short films begins
  • 8:40 p.m.: Closing + thank-yous
  • 9:00 p.m.: Wrap up

Tickets

Organizers are offering sliding scale tickets to keep this event accessible while supporting Y.E.T.I.’s programs:

  • $25: Basecamp
  • $50: Hike
  • $100: Climb
  • $250: Summit
  • Youth under 18: Free (limited spots available)

Every ticket helps create more opportunities for young people to experience outdoor adventure.

A Few Notes

  • Dress for the weather (this is an outdoor event under canopies!)
  • Camp chairs will be available, but feel free to bring your own
  • Parking details will be shared closer to the event
  • Youth tickets are limited, so please only reserve if you plan to attend
