The Burien Elks Lodge #2143 is now registering children ages 8 to 13 for its annual “Hoop Shoot” Free Throw Contest, which takes place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, according to an announcement from the lodge.

The youth competition gives participants the chance to advance to state or regional tournaments through the national Elks Hoop Shoot program. Organizers encourage families to register early as space is limited.
