Burien Free Methodist/Oasis Home Church to celebrate 120th anniversary with community event Saturday, Mar. 28
Burien Free Methodist, also known as Oasis Home Church, will mark its 120th anniversary with a community celebration on Saturday, Mar. 28, according to organizers.
The free event will run from 1 to 5 p.m. and will include a celebration service at 2 p.m.
This will be an open-house style afternoon with time to reconnect, share stories, and “celebrate what God has accomplished across generations.”
“We invite you to join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward with hope to what God will continue to do in and through Oasis Home Church.”
This free event is open to longtime members as well as newer attendees, with a focus on celebrating generations of community involvement.
“Whether Burien Free Methodist/Oasis Home Church has been your church home for decades or you are newer to our community, there is a place for you here,” organizers said.
The church has served as a neighborhood gathering place in Burien for more than a century, with the anniversary event highlighting its continued role in the community.
