Burien’s 104th annual Independence Day Parade will be July 4

Burien’s 104th annual Independence Day Parade will start marching through downtown at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

This is Burien’s largest parade, and thousands of people attend this great community event!

How to Participate

Discover Burien is encouraging organizations and residents to take part in what it calls one of the city’s most cherished traditions and a community celebration that has continued for more than a century.

According to Discover Burien, participating groups will have an opportunity to connect with thousands of community members, gain exposure for their organizations and celebrate community pride during one of Burien’s longest running events.

Please note that the number of entries allowed in the parade is capped at 80, and once all of the spots are filled up they will no longer accept applications.
