Flock to Bird Fest at the Burien Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 15
February 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Do you want to learn what birds are in your backyard? Do you want to help researchers take a snapshot of their populations? You can do both, and more at the annual Bird Fest event, coming to the Burien Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025.
Join the Bird Fest from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and learn about local birds and plants while participating in the annual Great Backyard Bird Count.
There will be bird walks, presentations, family nature walk, booths, door prize raffle, crafts and hands-on activities for all ages.
This festival is open to all, with no required registration, though there will be advanced registration for some aspects available.
The Environmental Science Center has coordinated Bird Fest with sponsorship from the City of Burien to spread awareness on watershed health through creating native habitat for birds.
The event is FREE for everyone to stop by and participate.
