Free e-waste recycling drive set for Burien Library on Wednesday, Aug. 26

A free e-waste recycling drive will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Burien Library in partnership with the nonprofit PCs for People.
The event is scheduled for 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the library, and is intended to help residents safely dispose of old electronics while keeping them out of landfills.
PCs for People, a Seattle-based nonprofit working to expand its reach across Washington state, said the recycling drive will include data destruction for all donated items.
Accepted Items:
- Desktop and laptop computers
- Phones
- TVs and monitors
- Computer accessories like keyboards, mice, or speakers
- Printers
- Hard drives and other computer parts
- Power cords and cables
- Servers and networking equipment
