Hall at Fauntleroy welcomes all to free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, Nov. 26
The Hall at Fauntleroy will serve a free community Thanksgiving meal from Noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26, welcoming anyone who would like a traditional turkey dinner.
No reservations are needed.
The annual gathering will take place at the hall, located at 9131 California Ave SW in West Seattle (map below).
Guests can arrive anytime during the three-hour meal service.
Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes Catering sous chef Zach Mosely will prepare turkey and the traditional accompaniments. Community members will provide donated desserts.
Organizers Seeking Help
Organizers are also collecting gently used warm clothing, new blankets and socks, and desserts. Donations can be dropped off at either of these locations:
- Wednesday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: The catering company’s SODO office, 4105 Airport Way South, Seattle.
- Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Hall at Fauntleroy, 9131 California Ave SW.
Most volunteer positions are nearly filled, according to organizers. Anyone interested in helping can check the volunteer signup page for remaining opportunities and more information.
