Highline Community Symphonic Band to perform free on Monday, Mar. 27

The Highline Community Symphonic Band will perform a free concert this coming Monday evening, Mar. 27, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at the Highline High School Theatre in Burien. “Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue,” a program led by conductor Corinne Smith, will feature music by Bach, Chambers, Ticheli, Sousa, Hailstork, Reed, LaBarr, and include selections from Schoenberg’s Les Miserables. Admission to the concert is FREE to all. About the Highline Community Symphonic Band Since 1971, the Highline Community Symphonic Band (HCSB) has been providing classical band music for the enjoyment and cultural enrichment of communities in and around the Highline area of South King County. HCSB provides a venue for local amateur musicians and selected high school instrumentalists to participate in a quality community symphonic band.
